Hostgator vs. Hostmonster: The pricing plans
First we’ll start off by going over the web hosting packages that are offered by hostgator, in this hostgator vs. hostmonster review. Hostgator offers a few different packages ranging from 3.96$-10.36$. The first package they offer is called the hatchling. The only con I can find to this cheaply priced package is the fact that you can only host one domain with it. The other features of this package include: instant back-ups, 24 hour a day-seven day a week customer service, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited disk space, free site building tools, 45 day money back guarantee, 99.9% up-time. The second package is called the baby and features everything the hatchling, with addition of unlimited domains. The last package is the business plan; this offers the user everything that the baby plan does with the additions of a dedicated IP server and free SSL certificate as well as a free toll-free number.
Hostmonster offers a web hosting plan for as low as 5.95$ a month. Users will get unlimited bandwidth and disk space, unlimited domains, business emails, site building tools, free advertising credits with Google and yahoo, and a guaranteed 99.9% up-time. Other packages include a 14.95 pro package with some added extras that you aren’t able to view unless you begin signing up your domain.
Hostgator vs. Hostmonster: Who should you choose?
In this hostgator vs. hostmonster review, I’ve found while both web hosts are similar in the fact that their packages has many of the same features, I didn’t find the hostmonster tutorials to be very informative and ended up needing to speak with someone from the live chat in order to get help adding on a domain. While the hostmonster staff was friendly, they suggested I watch a tutorial on the issue, even after I had already explained that I had. I’ve dealt with hostgators live chat support and felt they were more personable and informative. In this hosgator vs. hostmonster review, I have so far felt that hostgator has more to offer for those that are new to running and operating a website, and their site in general is more user friendly.
Hostgator vs. Hostmonster: Stick with the best
In this review of hostgator vs. hostmonter, several customer reviews stated they were satisfied with their reliable service with hostgator, the friendly, expert staff and had no issues with hostgators up-time promise of 99.9%. With hostmonster, there were a few negative reviews regarding slow loading websites and instances of down times at peak hours. Because the possibility of a downed website means money lost to you, I recommend you choose hostgator. In this hostgator vs. hostmonster review, there isn’t anything negative to say about hosgator and a few questionable issues with hostmonsters reliable service.
